Week 2 is in the books and I can’t say it was a record breaker but it was a week… a long LONG week. Like I said in my week one update (if you haven’t checked that out yet, you can do that right here) I did end up having to take things kind of easy this week again so I really don’t have much progress to report.
I was, however, able to come up with an exercise routine to try out over the next couple of weeks. So, I will have more to report on that next week, now that I can really start working out again.
I also spent a lot of this week just trying to rest my brain. Allowing myself to read and relax and just take care of myself mentally. It’s been a stressful and trying time for me and it’s been really important that I just focus on myself and mental health.
We did end up taking a mini vacation Saturday and Sunday back down to Disney World, even though I’m not sure of the exact number of steps I walked (thanks to forgetting my fitbit charger) I did do a good bit of walking throughout Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, And Epcot. I am also an avid baby and toddler wearer, so I carried Harper around for a good portion of the day both Saturday and Sunday.
My weight did increase a little, since I wasn’t really doing much this week and spending two days eating at Disney. I’m back up to 228.3 and even though I’m not thrilled with seeing the numbers on the scale increase, I’m not going to beat myself up about it. Especially when I didn’t do much work to prevent that weight gain to begin with.
So even though I don’t have a ton to report on this week, I’m confident that the next reports are going to be way better. I’m starting to feel better and I’m ready to really get stated.
