We will be seeing a new dining package available at Magic Kingdom this year. Starting May 2nd, Disney will be offering a new Magical Celebration package at Cinderella’s Royal Table. This package will include dinner at Cinderella’s Royal table, special reserved seating for the “Happily Ever After” fireworks show in the West Plaza Garden, all before joining the Happily Ever After Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace. You’ll also receive a glass of sparkling wine or other specialty drinks as well as a special box of yummy confections to take with you. New extended park hours

From September first to November second guest will be able to experience Extra Magic Hours at three Disney World theme parks every single day.

The first, most obvious player here is Hollywood Studios. They will be open for extra magic hours every day from 6-9am EST.

Next, we see Magic Kingdom will have Extra Magic Hours in the mornings from 7-8am EST every day but will also have Extra Extra Magic Hours from 9pm-11pm EST or 10pm-12am EST every Wednesday. Make sure to check the calendar or My Disney Experience app for updates on which days will have the Extra Extra Magic Hours and when they will run from.  Don’t forget that Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party begin August 16th to November 1st, so you can also purchase tickets for this event to extend you Magic Kingdom fun as well.

Animal Kingdom will have daily Extra Magic Hours from 7am- 8am EST

Finally, Epcot will have Extra Magic Hours on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 9pm- 11pm.

So there will be a lot of extra chances to enjoy Disney World Parks, in much cooler temperatures if you take advantage of the new Extra Magic Hours.

New Fireworks Show

We will be getting a new Fireworks show, in 2019, for Disney’s Very Merry Christmas Party, hosted by none other than Minnie Mouse! This holiday season, the skies over Magic Kingdom will be lit up like never before during Minnie’s Wonderful Christmas Time Fireworks Fireworks. This magical new fireworks display will celebrate the magic and wonder of Christmas all while listening to holiday favorites such as “Deck the Halls”, “Joy to the World”, “We Wish You A Merry Christmas”, and more. You’ll be able to see this new Fireworks display on select night from November 8th-December 22nd.

New Toy Story 4 Fun at Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios

Toy Story Land is receiving some pretty fun new things in honor of the release of Toy Story 4. The first thing is the new Bo Peep Meet and Greet. The new Character will be available for pictures along with Woody, Buzz, and Jesse in Toy Story Land throughout the summer. If you are planning a trip to Disney this summer, make sure that you head over to Hollywood Studios since she will only be there for a limited time. You can see our first look at her here.

There is also a new Forky themed chocolate hazelnut eclair at Hollywood Studios as well, and it’s not where you think it would be. You would think that this delicious new treat would be at Woody’s Lunchbox in Toy Story Land, right? Wrong! It can actually be found at Backlot Express over by Star Tours.

Tron looks less like a pile of dirt and more like a coaster

We have some pretty exciting tron news. The track is starting to be laid and it’s looking like a real coaster now. I have to admit, after seeing the track, I’m really excited to ride this bad boy once it finally opens.

Father’s day at Wine Bar George in Disney Springs

If you’re looking for something special to do with dad this father’s day, why not head down to Wine Bar George in Disney Springs and pick up “The Dad Stack”. The “Dad Stack” is a massive seven Layer, yes you read that right… SEVEN LAYER, breakfast plate made up of French Toast, French Fries, Bacon, Sausage, Gravy, Chicken Sausage, Skirt Steak, and, if that wasn’t enough… topped with two Sunny Side Up Eggs. If that doesn’t scream “I LOVE YOU DAD” then I don’t know what does.

Tomorrowland Speedway is back open

If you’ve been looking forward to being able to test out your driving skills at the Tomorrowland Speedway, your wait is over! It’s finally back open after being closed to allow for Tron construction and refurbs. So you can happily race around the tracks in Tomorrowland once again.

H20 Glow Nights are Back

H20 glow nights are back at Typhoon Lagoon. I know I don’t talk about the water parks too much, but these Glow Nights are pretty amazing. Celebrate summer with the ultimate water party, hosted by DJ Rex and other Pixar Pals. You’ll enjoy unlimited access to water ride, with minimal crowds, meaning you can ride the slides as much as you want or drift down the lazy river without a care in the world. Drinks and food will be available to purchase to make the party even more fun. And what’s a party without music? Enjoy listening to some amazing music and dancing all night long. Seriously, if you’re into water parks and looking for a different experience, check out H2O Glod Nights. For information on the dates and how to order tickets just click here.

Water Parks

Staying on the water park theme, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon are officially open. So, if you’re looking for a fun way to keep cool this summer, this is the way to go. It’s a great way to hang out at Disney without spending your days in the parks while it’s 100 plus degrees and humid.

That’s just some of the news out of Disney for the start of the month. I’m expecting to see a lot more in the coming weeks, so I’ll update you when I see it. Make sure that you’ve joined the G&G fam by clicking that follow button over to the right. You can follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see what all we are up to.
