It’s officially spring time and we are moving into learning about all things related to spring at the moment in my house. I love this time of year for teaching about biology and botany because you can see everything in action. We’ve even set up a small garden in my backyard so the kids can have a hands on lesson about how to grow their own food and where their food comes from. As well as seeing the different types of plants and how they grow.
To me, this is just the perfect time of year for hands on experimentation and since we are learning about all things spring we are also tailoring our sit down/book work to match what we are learning. All of the activities we’ve been doing for book work have also been incorporating elements of Spring.
So with spring in the air, I think it’s the perfect time to introduce you to our friends over at education.com who were gracious enough to share their Spring Word Search Worksheet with us. I received the worksheet and thought it was absolutely perfect for what we are doing right now.
